Property tycoons Nick and Christian Candy are suing the owner of Chelsea barracks for more than £1m in unpaid fees.
The brothers, who have made their name selling luxury apartments to the rich, have instructed lawyers at Wragge & Co to recover money they claim is owed for work on the £3 billion residential scheme in west London.
Last week The Sunday Times revealed that Lord Rogers’s architectural firm was suing Qatari Diar, developer of Chelsea barracks, for £2m in unpaid fees. The project has been hit by controversy over the design.
A spokesman for Candy & Candy, the brothers’ firm, said: “We deeply regret having to take this action. We hope this unfortunate matter can be resolved quickly.â€
