Gross mortgage lending falls 9 percent y/y in October

Gross mortgage lending in Britain fell nine percent year-on-year in October to 12.4 billion pounds, the Council of Mortgage Lenders said on Thursday.

The CML said that was the lowest October total since 2000 and that the market remained subdued.
