Countrywide has bought north-east residential lettings agent Property Quarters, which operates offices out of North Shields and Whitly Bay.
The firm, which has opened 70 lettings offices in the last seven months, has bought the 33-year-old company for an undisclosed sum.
Margaret Longden, co-managing director at Countrywide, said: “Property Quarters has always impressed us and we’re proud to have their team onboard. This acquisition complements our ongoing growth plans in the North East through both acquisition and organic growth to increase our lettings footprint and client reach. Across the UK we have opened 70 lettings offices in the last seven months and we will look to continue this throughout the year.â€
