Britain's costliest house this year went for £19m... but cheapest was just £16,000

The most expensive house sold so far this year has gone for £19.25million.
It was a detached property in the upmarket suburb of Hampstead, north London.
And the cheapest purchase was a £16,000 terraced property in Middlesbrough.
According to the figures for England and Wales from the Land Registry, London was generally the region with the biggest house price rise over the year, at a rate of 1.4 per cent.
The North East has seen the biggest fall so far – 5.4 per cent.
The average house price nationwide stood at £161,727 between January and the end of last month, compared with £164,916 last year.
There were 539,577 sales, but 598,445 in the same period in 2010.
